Trek to Mount Everest Base Camp is one of those tours that will make your vacation dreams come true. Trek in the Everest region

Your hike will take you to the popular village of Namche, called the 'Gateway to Khumbu'. From there you walk through tranquil monasteries and meet the famous Sherpa people who inhabit this region. Their culture is remarkable. On the way we visit the Sagarmatha National Park, home to a rare fauna and flora, where we acclimatize for some time.



We venture deep into the Khumbu and walk in rhododendron, birch and pine forests with colorful villages, where we are welcomed by the Sherpa community. We are pleasantly surprised to find a hospital in Khunde and a health post in Pheriche, which shows that this region not only cares for the locals, but is also prepared to take care of trekkers who have altitude problems. Doctors are always on the mail for first aid treatment. The hike is exhausting, but numerous teahouses can be found along the trails, which offer good food and a cozy bed to protect against the sometimes harsh climate. Our trek culminates in the base camp and then we make our way to Namche as we hike back to Lukla to meet for our flight to Kathmandu. We add an additional bad weather emergency day that can delay flights. It is advisable to be quite fit for this trip; You only need a few good hiking exercises before you make this trip.
